  1. Oh my goodness, Wally, double-whammy at the same time. I’ve already seen you’re ‘still here’ with your latest post, but I’m sure it’s been a tough recovery for you both. Best to you both!

  2. Please, both of you, take your time recovering, but hurry up. My stepdad had his aortic valve and aortic arch replaced–hard to hold him down now. Heal quickly and fully.

  3. As a photographer I always enjoy your pictures. You have taught me how to see different things in our Florida nature. But I have a special joy in how you slow us down from the hustle/bustle of Florida and I4 to see the most special things, and read your words. So simple and so unique. You have enriched our lives with each writing. Our prayers are there to enrich yours and get you two back in action fast

  4. Wonderful news my lovely pals. Happy New Year and enjoy what’s left of Christmas. We are well but ready for sunshine and the good news that January 20th will bring.

  5. I can’t imagine a better Christmas gift than having ‘all this’ behind you, and being on the road to full health again. Thank you for giving us the gift of an update; it certainly made my season a bit merrier. I hope that by the arrival of spring, you both will have a bit more spring in your steps!

  6. Best Christmas present – being able to sit up and type a little! All my best wishes for speedy recovery for you both! I hope you have lots of helper-elves to make you both extra comfortable. And I hope the new year finds you both with increased stamina – your muscles have to re-learn how to keep up with your indomitable spirits!
